We have been continuously buying and selling income homes for over thirty years. During this period, not once, have we felt compelled to initiate a letter to serve as a vehicle of communications expressing our thoughts on services rendered. In fact we don't recall ever having written a letter to anyone who has been paid for a service, good or bad.

You see, when we pay for something, we just expect good service.

However, the selling of our house at 498 Bristol St. Cambria last month warrants written comment to say the least. ... We even waited a couple of weeks after the sale, before writing, to insure we were not markedly influenced by our experience.

Coldwell Banker was chosen over four other agencies, because of the clear, concise marketing strategy package that Jutta Jacobs produced.

Ms. Jacobs accomplished everything specified by the market plan and then some!

All the while, communicating with us as if we were her only client. She was professional, attentive, thorough, friendly, cooperative, and marketed the home well beyond our expectations. Jutta was all things she should have been.

In addition to being pleased by Jutta's marketing strategy, we were pleased by two special traits Jutta exhibited. Her excellent communications skills, and a precise no-nonsense scientific mind lets her zero in on important matters and stay focused. All the while transporting a contented customer thru the maze of selling their property. These are key factors that demonstrate strong leadership skills.

Ms. Jacobs is one of the few folks you'll meet in a lifetime, who is really good at what she does. No doubt, she would be good at any profession undertaken.

In fact Jutta's skills are so good, you may want to consider using her in various training positions. Imagine the benefit of Jutta like clones working at your business, with every customer completely satisfied. Also consider lobbying to have Ms. Jacobs considered for a key-note speakers position at your annual realtors conventions. How about employees like her, spread throughout the entire Coldwell Banker system. Not a bad thing!

My wife Harriet frequently vacationed on California's Central Coast as a child growing up. She especially loved Cambria because it combined an unspoiled seacoast, a quaint village, and the touch of the Northern Coast with its distinctive Monterey Cypress trees. After years of Harriet's countless daydream escapes from Los Angeles where we now live, to Cambria, we had made a decision to search for a place to call our own and perhaps settle one day.

The search began in 2003 when Harriet connected with Jutta Jacobs and Coldwell Banker. She immediately liked Jutta's honesty, directness and appreciated her intimate knowledge of Cambria, the surrounding area, and the housing market. They looked together for the right house in our price range on and off for the next two years. The right opportunity did not unveil, but Harriet's dream never faded.

The Cambrian housing market was quickly rising to where we seemingly could have been priced out of the area. Jutta never gave up, always remained positive, and she was always willing and patient to continue to show us houses. She encouraged us to hang in there and something would popup in time. We finally found a house and made an offer, but the deal fell through due to the complexity of our offer and our special circumstantial contingencies. Harriet was so close to her dream.

A few months later, through her creative research and diligence, Jutta found us an ideal house and helped us successfully negotiate a fairly complex financial offer that finally translated to a home for us.

I can wax superlatives endlessly when it comes to Jutta. She possesses the professional attributes and experience that one would expect in a realtor and then some. She has an amazing focus and attends to the simplest of details. But the bottom line, and her greatest strength, is that she took the time to know us. She knew what areas we liked and our requirements in a house. She optimally utilized our time when we were together. She was also fun to be around, and my wife and I always looked forward to the next time we would be together.

Mr. Bricker, I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, but you have a jewel working for you. I would recommend that anyone searching for a Central Coast investment property, or a place to vacation or someday retire, their search should begin by contacting Jutta.
